What does it look like?

Resplendent in its original “Matterhorn Silver” and Recaro plaid interior, this GT/E is s sexy beast indeed. Opel’s answer to the German Ford Capri, the Manta was perennially a dangerous foil, with good looks and excellent performance for the era. This car was in good shape when we acquired it, but we still stripped it back and refinished the bodywork in its original color. The same was true of the interior, which was complete, yet a bit sun faded. All seats in the original Recaro interior, as well as the door panels, are reupholstered in the original gold plaid cloth, black synthetic leather and original-style black corduroy.

The result, inside and out, is a very original-looking and stylish 1980’s icon.
